The Strategic HR Advisor is responsible for providing expert human resources advice and guidance to senior managers and staff on performance conduct grievances and conflict resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to business planning by analyzing human resources trends and insights.
- Develop and implement proactive engagement strategies to promote a positive workplace culture.
- Provide support and guidance to managers and staff on performance management processes and grievance procedures.
- Lead investigations and disciplinary matters in line with relevant legislation and internal policies.
- Oversee training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes to attract and retain top talent.
- Support succession planning and talent management initiatives to drive business growth.
- Monitor workforce metrics and report on trends and risks to inform strategic decision-making.
- Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, as well as health and safety obligations.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Previous experience working in a senior HR role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience in people management, including leadership and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment laws and modern workplace practices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
