Strategic HR Advisor Role

The Strategic HR Advisor is responsible for providing expert human resources advice and guidance to senior managers and staff on performance conduct grievances and conflict resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to business planning by analyzing human resources trends and insights.
  • Develop and implement proactive engagement strategies to promote a positive workplace culture.
  • Provide support and guidance to managers and staff on performance management processes and grievance procedures.
  • Lead investigations and disciplinary matters in line with relevant legislation and internal policies.
  • Oversee training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes to attract and retain top talent.
  • Support succession planning and talent management initiatives to drive business growth.
  • Monitor workforce metrics and report on trends and risks to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, as well as health and safety obligations.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Previous experience working in a senior HR role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in people management, including leadership and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment laws and modern workplace practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
