Project Foreman

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Foreman to oversee diverse commercial construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong track record of on-site experience and a hands-on approach.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting site inspections, coordinating trades, and working with a site manager to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high standards.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure quality and safety outcomes.
  • Coordinate trades onsite.
  • Work with a site manager to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high standards.
  • Coordinate relationships between various trades and ensure sub-contractors carry out work safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a healthy and safe work environment.
  • Ensure environmental controls are suitable and implemented, monitored, and reviewed.
  • Review, understand, and have input to all subcontractor and supplier scope of works.
  • Organise completion of defect works in a timely manner.
  • Participate in lesson-learned sessions to continuously improve the performance of the overall team.

About You - Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role in class 2 – 9 construction as defined under the building codes of Australia (BCA).
  • Relevant trade background and competencies.
  • Open Builders Supervision license issued by QBCC.
  • Excellent communication skills – both oral and written.
  • Willingness to lead and motivate team members.
  • A person who is enthusiastic, self-motivated, and quality driven.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Commitment and understanding of the importance of time and financial goals.
  • Good computer/mobile device skills for daily use of Programs & Apps.
