Site Operations Leader

The Site Operations Leader will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day activities of our organization's site operations.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Oversight: Supervise and manage all aspects of site operations, including resource allocation, rostering, and staff management.
  • Equipment Optimization: Ensure optimal performance of fixed and mobile waste processing equipment by maximizing throughput, recovery rates, and maintaining stock control.
  • Safety and Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to safety and environmental standards, ensuring quality waste separation, traffic management, and site cleanliness.

Requirements:
  • Leadership Experience: Proven leadership skills in operational site management within fast-paced environments with a strong focus on safety and compliance.
  • Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with fixed and mobile plant, supported by mechanical knowledge and relevant machine tickets (e.g. excavator, front-end loader).
  • Team Leadership: Strong team leadership and development skills, with a demonstrated ability to build, manage, and motivate effective teams.
  • Performance Improvement: Proficient in using data and digital tools to drive performance improvements, including MS Office and other operational reporting systems.
  • WHS Principles: Solid understanding of WHS principles and practical application, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
