Project Coordinator Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator to join our team and support the Defence community in Australia.

This role will involve managing and leading people in the delivery of work packages or project stages, partnering with customers and business units to ensure acceptance, close down, and handover to service.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years experience working on projects and 1+ years working as a project coordinator or customer service, with knowledge of Defence environment, Deskside projects, and strong proactive and organised skills.

The successful candidate must hold a current or reinstatable AGSVA clearance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and Lead Teams: Coordinate and lead teams to deliver work packages or project stages, ensuring timely completion and meeting customer expectations.
  • Define Requirements: Collaborate with customers and business units to define requirements, manage agreements, and ensure objectives are met.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with project deliverables.
  • Business Impact: Ensure project activities within scope do not negatively impact business units' profit & loss.
  • Objective Alignment: Ensure own objectives align with project or program objectives.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years project management experience
  • 1+ years project coordination or customer service experience
  • Knowledge of Defence environment
  • Knowledge of Deskside projects
  • Proactive and organised skills
  • Current or reinstatable AGSVA clearance
