Excel in a dynamic Corporate/M&A team at Corrs Chambers Westgarth, Australia's leading independent law firm.

As an experienced Legal Assistant, you will support a partner and their team, contributing to delivering high-quality legal services. This 12-month parental leave cover position offers the opportunity to work with market-leading lawyers on matters for high-profile clients, ensuring exceptional performance and outstanding client service.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with clients and stakeholders
  • Effective file management
  • Calendar management
  • Billing, time coding, and reporting
  • Travel arrangements (including flights and accommodation)
  • Supporting events and business development activities

Required skills and qualifications

  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Proactive and able to work independently with limited supervision
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
  • Advanced knowledge of CMS/Aderant or other finance-related software
  • Able to develop and foster excellent professional relationships internally and with clients
