About our Team

We are seeking experienced professionals in psychology, social work, mental health nursing or occupational therapy to deliver evidence-based, best-practice forensic intervention in a supportive correctional environment.

Our team consists of multidisciplinary experts who collaborate to provide comprehensive services. We offer first-rate training and support for our team members.

As part of our induction program, new team members will participate in foundation, theory, and mentored on-the-job training. They will also have access to national and international experts in forensic work and receive essential debriefing for the first 12 months.

Ongoing professional development opportunities include clinical scholarship, research programs, and study leave. These initiatives enable our team members to stay up-to-date with industry developments and advance their careers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based, best-practice forensic intervention in a supportive correctional environment.
  • Work within the risk-needs-responsivity model to deliver a wide range of individualised services.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, including risk assessments, and prepare treatment plans, treatment reports, and risk assessment reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide clinical interviews to develop person-centred rehabilitation pathways and employ evidence-based assessment tools.
  • Deliver treatment interventions and treatment programs involving individual and group sessions.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • General registration as a psychologist with the relevant professional board.
  • Eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers.
  • Credentialed as a mental health nurse with the relevant professional body.
  • Registered as an occupational therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
