The multidisciplinary team within Ballerrt Yeram-boo-ee requires high-level clinical psychological expertise to provide advanced range of psychological services including advice on the management and treatment of complex patient/prisoner issues.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing advanced range of psychological services including advice on the management and treatment of complex patient/prisoner issues.
  • Completing psychological reports for court as required and contributing to special projects, committees and working parties within the organisation.
  • Participating in the training and supervision of psychology placement students, interns, registrars and staff of other disciplines.

To be successful, applicants must possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulations Agency (AHPRA).
  • Endorsement or eligibility for endorsement by AHPRA in the area of clinical and/or forensic psychology.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing high level services in forensic mental health and related settings.
