Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Store Inventory Manager to join our team in a retail environment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring efficient stock receipt and distribution, and implementing strategies to reduce shrinkage and expenses.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Develop and implement effective inventory management processes to ensure accurate stock levels, minimize stockouts, and reduce waste.
  • Stock Receipt and Distribution: Oversee the safe and efficient receipt of stock, including unloading and storing merchandise in compliance with company procedures.
  • Shrinkage Reduction: Implement strategies to reduce inventory shrinkage through effective stock control, secure storage practices, and thorough investigations of losses.
  • Expense Management: Analyze and optimize expenses related to inventory management, including freight costs, storage fees, and other direct costs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Prior Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a similar role or in a related field, such as logistics or supply chain management.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of inventory staff.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to accurately track and manage inventory levels.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact with colleagues, suppliers, and customers in a professional and courteous manner.
Benefits
