Job Overview

This role is responsible for leading the grid interconnection process from development to execution.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the project lifecycle including sales, commissioning and technical support.
  • Perform detailed power system studies using simulation tools such as PSCAD and DIgSILENT PowerFactory.
  • Evaluate and review grid performance reports and compliance packages ensuring all Australian grid codes are met.
  • Collaborate with clients, utilities, consultants and operators ensuring seamless project delivery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering or related field. PhD in Power System Control an advantage.
  • At least 5 years of experience in power systems with knowledge of grid interconnection processes in Australia.
  • Proficient in PSCAD and DIgSILENT PowerFactory with Python scripting knowledge.
  • Familiarity with inverter-based controls and grid-forming technologies.
  • Australian permanent residency required.
