Energy Projects Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to contribute to the delivery of energy projects in our expanding team, based in Perth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparation of technical reports, design packages, and feasibility studies for energy projects. Additionally, they will conduct site assessments, coordinate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and support modelling and performance assessments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Report Preparation: Prepare comprehensive technical reports, design packages, and feasibility studies for energy projects.
  • Site Assessments: Conduct thorough site assessments to inform project delivery and identify potential risks.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
  • Construction Oversight: Provide construction oversight, design documentation support, energy studies, and grid interconnection studies as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree: Hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Renewable Energy Engineering with relevant Australian market experience in Energy/Renewable Energy.
  • Software Skills: Familiarity with industry-standard software packages including HOMER, PVSyst, and WindPro.
  • Industry Expertise: Possess 3+ years of experience in the renewable energy or broader energy sector with a consultancy, client-side, or developer.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrate strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to multidisciplinary engineering projects.
  • Industry Knowledge: Be aware of industry codes, safety standards, and project delivery processes.
