We are seeking a Power Systems Expert to join our dynamic team. As a pivotal role, you will drive technical excellence across power system studies using tools like PSS/E, PSCAD, PowerFactory, and Hypersim.

You will bring your expertise in end-to-end grid connection processes, guiding the technical delivery of complex studies and ensuring seamless integration with the grid. Your experience with generator performance standards and a deep understanding of Schedule 5 of the NER will be key to your success.

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and experienced professional to lead innovative design and engineering solutions, oversee project controls, conduct site inspections, and deliver cost-effective outcomes.

To excel in this role, you will need a strong technical foundation and a collaborative mindset. Ideally, you will have:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics
  • Senior level experience delivering complex, high-voltage grid connection projects across design, build, and commissioning phases
  • A focus on health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ), with a knack for inspiring teams and driving great results commercially and for clients
  • Great people skills, able to build strong relationships, communicate clearly, and work with customers and senior stakeholders
  • Chartered status with Engineers Australia and RPEQ registration or actively working towards it
