Market Development Role

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Market Development Director to join our team. This role involves identifying opportunities for growth, building relationships with key stakeholders, and advocating for our solutions to address industry challenges.

The successful candidate will have expertise in managing RFX processes, internal cross-functional coordination, and driving technology adoption. They will also possess strong project and engagement management skills, as well as the ability to inspire teams through innovative approaches and strategic vision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Market Research and Ecosystem Development
    • Conduct market studies and analyze trends to identify new opportunities for growth based on infrastructure development and funding trends.
    • Drive business development initiatives to expand Bentley Systems' presence in the ANZ region.
    • Map key infrastructure projects and engage with decision-makers to develop opportunities for Bentley solutions.
    • Work closely with account teams to align strategies and drive demand.
  • Strategic Influence and Project Formulation
    • Engage early in the project lifecycle to shape infrastructure planning, design, and technology adoption.
    • Provide insights and thought leadership on industry trends, projects, and news to influence stakeholders.
  • RFX Shaping and Coordination
    • Partner with stakeholders to shape RFPs, RFIs, and tenders to align Bentley's capabilities with project specifications.
    • Lead internal coordination to deliver comprehensive RFX responses and ensure maximum win rates.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or related field and/or 15+ years of experience in the infrastructure, engineering, construction, and/or operations industry.
  • Experience engaging with public and private sector stakeholders and influencing project lifecycles.
  • Strong project and engagement management skills, as well as the ability to inspire teams through innovative approaches and strategic vision.
