About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Officer to join our team at Graymont Limited. As a key member of our quality management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the implementation and maintenance of our Quality Management System.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all activities associated with the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System, including procedures and document creation/revision.
  • Manage internal quality audits and customer concerns, ensuring appropriate corrective/preventive actions are taken.
  • Assume the role of Administrator of the Enterprise Quality Management Software.
  • Promote the Quality Policy and measure quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization.
  • Conduct investigations and root cause analyses of Quality incidents.
  • Prepare reports and maintain documentation of audit results.
  • Assist in the implementation of new Quality Tools.
  • Track monthly metrics generated from the Quality Management System.

Requirements:

  • A College or University degree in a Science or related program.
  • Good knowledge of continuous improvement and Quality Management Systems and Internal Audit in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven teambuilding and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work with operations, technical, sales, and management staff.
  • Excellent organization and planning skills, and attention to detail.
