Public Health Regulation Policy Officer

About the Role

The Health Protection Service is seeking a dynamic policy officer to join our Public Health Regulation (PHR) policy team. As a Public Health Regulation Policy Officer, you will contribute to the regulation and oversight of public health standards, ensuring the community remains safe and healthy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake policy analysis, development, and implementation
  • Provide informed policy advice to stakeholders on ACT public health regulation strategies and activities
  • Work collaboratively with the PHR policy team to develop and implement regulatory policy and legislative change

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong background in public health, policy development, and/or regulatory frameworks. You will also possess excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment and respond quickly to changing priorities.
