We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team in Jandakot, Western Australia. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of maintenance projects for subsea equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure compliance with Oceaneering Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Lead by example, promoting a strong HSE culture among project personnel, subcontractors, and clients.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure appropriate mitigation measures are in place.
- Participate in the observation card system, Oceaneering Life Saving Rules, self-verifications, and STOP audits.
- Review project information, including proposals, plans, and procurement scope of work, to determine time frames, funding limitations, project risks, and opportunities.
- Compile and agree a project schedule with the client and communicate it to all stakeholders.
- Ensure project quality requirements are defined in relative plans, drawings, and specifications, and agreed with the client.
- Plan project procurement within the defined project budget, timeframe, and complying with Oceaneering procurement processes and procedures.
- Conduct an internal kick-off meeting with all stakeholders to clearly communicate project requirements, deliverables, timeline, responsibilities, and HSEQ metrics.
- Manage project maintenance scope throughout the lifecycle of the project.
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement throughout the lifecycle of the project.
- Meet all agreed project deliverables to the client through creation of regular monthly reports, inspection updates, investigation outcomes, purchase plans, etc.
- Ensure all invoicing is completed with required backup documentation and submitted to the client prior to monthly cut-off due date.
- Perform lessons learned with all project stakeholders and keep records.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
- 7+ years of project engineering experience, preferably from subsea/Oil & Gas engineering.
- Project engineering/management experience in maintenance of hydraulic and electrical equipment.
- Experience in pipeline design and repairs, asset management/asset integrity.
- Understanding of engineering design drawings – BOM.
- Experience in creating procedure/work instructions.
