We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our team at Sugar Australia. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of multiple capital works projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the delivery of multiple capital works projects, from concept to hand-over.
  • Provide technical engineering support and expert advice to project teams.
  • Develop and manage customer requirements and interfaces to ensure projects are identified and scoped in line with business needs.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers to support understanding of requirements and completion of project.
  • Strive for best practice safety, project execution, and cost performance through continuous interaction with site teams.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Trade qualified and post-trade qualifications in Engineering or a Bachelor of Engineering.
  • 5+ years of project engineering and management experience in manufacturing or heavy industries.
  • Experience in managing multi-discipline projects.
  • Exposure to continuous improvement or lean principles.
  • Analytical and systematic, with good communication, negotiating, and record-keeping capabilities.
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
