Portfolio Strategist Role

As a Portfolio Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in the strategic management of investment platforms.

This is a hands-on opportunity to shape investment outcomes and drive operational excellence through:

  • Supporting portfolio implementation, FX exposure management and automation of operational workflows.
  • Contribute to total portfolio governance, research initiatives and data analysis.
  • Collaborating with sector teams and internal stakeholders to deliver strategic investment outcomes.
  • Identifying process inefficiencies and drive improvements through documentation and resilience-building.
  • Upholding risk awareness and compliance standards, raising concerns and incidents as needed.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A solid understanding of asset management in superannuation and RSE regulatory frameworks.
  • At least 10 years of experience, especially in portfolio rebalancing, workflow automation and database management.
  • Confident and experienced in cross-functional communication.
  • Extensive technical skills in data analytics and tool development using SQL, Matlab, R or Python, including AI applications.
  • Proven ability to lead projects and work effectively across multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Degree-qualified in Finance with a focus on investments.
