As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise to our healthcare professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to Defence Force personnel and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical guidance and support to healthcare professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct quality and governance activities, including incident management and performance monitoring.
- Provide workforce advice and support, including staffing levels and supervision of clinical staff.
- Conduct team meetings and staff training activities, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
About You:
- You must be an Australian citizen and able to attain and maintain a baseline security clearance from the Defence security and vetting service.
- You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both clinical and non-clinical team members.
- You will have strong management skills, including leadership, conflict resolution, and an understanding of medical ethics and medico-legal issues.
Requirements:
- Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a medical practitioner in Australia with AHPRA.
- A Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) or Vocational Registration.
- Post Graduate Qualifications in Health Management (Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma, Masters, PhD or Doctorate) or commitment to working toward same (Bupa supported fees).
