Senior Clinician

Bupa is seeking a highly skilled Senior Clinician to join our Defence Force Health Services team in Wagga & Kapooka Health Centres. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and guidance to our team members.
As a Senior Clinician, you will be working in a unique clinical environment, providing a range of services including preventive medicine, musculoskeletal health, pre-deployment medicals, mental health and psychological support, as well as emergency medicine. You will be working closely with our allied health professionals to ensure the overall health and wellbeing of our Defence Force members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing clinical guidance and leadership to our team members
- Developing and implementing quality and governance improvement initiatives
- Participating in performance management processes
- Conducting team meetings and staff training activities
We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, who is able to work well with both clinical and non-clinical team members. You will also require strong management skills, including leadership, conflict resolution and an understanding of medical ethics and medico legal issues.
Requirements:
- Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a medical practitioner in Australia with AHPRA
- A Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) or Vocational Registration
- Post Graduate Qualifications in Health Management (Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma, Masters, PhD or Doctorate) or commitment to working toward same (Bupa supported fees)
