Job Opportunity: Legal Assistant - Family Law

Role Overview:

  • Support a partner and team in a family law firm by managing files, diaries and other administrative tasks.
  • Liaise with clients, barristers, courts and internal parties to ensure smooth communication and case progression.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents and correspondence, as well as briefs for barristers.
  • Arrange appointments and conferences, and manage billing processes.

Requirements:

  • 12 months experience in a similar role is essential, preferably in a family law environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are required, with the ability to work autonomously and show initiative.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills are necessary to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in IT and technical skills is also required.
