This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Legal Support Specialist.
- You will provide administrative support to lawyers in family law, including diary management, arranging appointments/mediations, drafting general correspondence and preparing documents, filing and indexing original legal documents, taking telephone calls and assisting where appropriate, drafting, indexing and collating briefs to Counsel, liaising with clients, Barristers and external parties, and undertaking legal research.
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably in family law, advanced MS Office skills, strong attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, and excellent inter-personal skills.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office software, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with lawyers, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Proactive approach to learning and staying up-to-date with changes in family law.
