About this role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Commis Chef to join our dynamic team at the airport lounges. This permanent part-time position involves working with a large and experienced group of culinary professionals, preparing dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet services, as well as providing a la carte dining experiences.

This role requires flexibility in terms of rostering, which can include morning and evening shifts. As a key member of the kitchen brigade, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food preparation, presentation, and hygiene.

To succeed in this role, you should have proven experience working in a busy kitchen environment, preferably in an a la carte setting. Tertiary culinary qualifications are also essential. Full working rights within Australia are required, and having your own transport and a valid driver's license would be advantageous.
