Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and support to clients in their homes, including assistance with daily living activities and household chores.
- Stay aware of changes to clients' health and emotional wellbeing, and advise a Helping Hand Coordinator as needed.
- Maintain a friendly, professional, and positive manner when representing Helping Hand in the community.
- Deliver social support by engaging meaningfully with clients in each interaction.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or be willing to obtain one).
- Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care.
- Current Australian driver licence.
- A registered, well-maintained, reliable, and insured vehicle.
- Good communication skills, including the ability to speak and write clearly and accurately.
- Ability to operate smartphones and apps (such as Microsoft Outlook).
- Have a valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or be willing to obtain one.
- A supportive and inclusive work environment.
