Job Summary:Helping Hand is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Aged Care Professional to join our team at the Port Pirie Residential Care Home. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality personal care services to our residents, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver exceptional personal care services to residents, based on their individual care plans;
- Support residents in maintaining their independence and dignity;
- Contribute to the development of care plans, sharing your observations and ideas to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents;
- Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure seamless delivery of services and a high standard of care;
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and the care team;
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a care role, preferably in an aged care setting;
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or willingness to obtain one;
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings and afternoons.
