Be There to Care

At Helping Hand, we're committed to providing high-quality care to older adults in their own homes. As a Home Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in delivering domestic services that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare home-cooked meals and assist with shopping and transport to appointments
  • Support clients to live in their homes by helping with household chores like cleaning and laundry
  • Maintain a friendly, professional, and positive manner when representing Helping Hand in the community
  • Deliver social support by engaging meaningfully with clients in each interaction
Requirements:
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or be willing to obtain one)
  • Current driver's license (P2 minimum)
  • A registered, well-maintained, reliable, and insured vehicle
  • Good communication skills, including the ability to speak and write clearly and accurately
  • Ability to operate smartphones and apps (such as Microsoft Outlook)
  • Valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance (or be willing to obtain one)
