Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Esperance Residential College. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals to our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cater for meals at the college and college functions, ensuring food handling and occupational hygiene practices are in accordance with relevant health and safety guidelines.
  • Ensure that stock is ordered and stored safely, and that equipment and facilities are hygienically maintained.
  • Work effectively with other cook/s and kitchen hand/s to undertake mixed functions as required.
Requirements
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
  • Consent to a National Criminal History Check with the Department's Screening Unit.
  • Obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check.
