Geoscience Graduate Development Program

We are seeking a talented and ambitious graduate to join our team in this exciting opportunity.

The Geoscience Graduate Development Program is a two-year program designed to equip you with the advanced skills and knowledge required to excel in the resources sector. During your journey, you will engage in assigned research and project activities that focus on providing a broad range of geoscience skills and a deep dive into how to access and use geoscience data.

You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and develop transferable skillsets across geoscience and data roles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in research and project activities to develop geoscience skills
  • Work with experienced professionals to gain industry-specific knowledge
  • Develop transferable skillsets across geoscience and data roles
Requirements:
  • Penultimate year student in Honours or Master's degree at Western Australian universities
  • Willing to enter a two-year commitment and sign a deed with the employer
Benefits:
  • First year: stipend of $35,000 - $50,000 depending on degree
  • Second year: full-time employment with starting salary of A$83,456 p.a. plus 12% superannuation
  • Flexible working hours (37.5 hour week)

  • 20 days annual leave per year (half-pay option)
  • Leave loading 17.5% on accrued annual leave
  • 15 days personal leave per year
  • 13 weeks long service leave every seven years (half-pay option)
