Role Overview

As a key player in the defence industry, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Australian Defence Force across 100 locations nationwide. From operations and maintenance to asset management and fuel supply services, your expertise will ensure effective and sustainable delivery.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in the Australian Defence environment to support national security requirements. You will benefit from working with a Tier 1 services provider in a long-term operations and maintenance contract.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Operating Agent, you will be responsible for the safe and compliant operation and management of aviation and/or ground fuel installations. This will include managing quality, compliance, quantity and availability of fuel and related systems and processes.

You will also be responsible for ensuring the technical integrity of the fuel, including management of quality control sampling and testing. Experience in similar environments, such as fuel or other high-risk/hazardous processing environments, would be highly regarded.

Requirements

Along with relevant experience, you will be a strong team player, self-starter and dedicated employee. We expect that the successful applicant will have the following:

  • Defence specific training will be advantageous; however, this training will be provided to the successful applicant where required
  • A valid driver's licence (HR or HC will be highly regarded)
  • Safety will be at the forefront of everything you do
  • The ability to hold, or obtain appropriate Defence Security Clearance
  • Residency in the Brisbane area, close-proximity to Amberley, QLD
