Teaching Position Available

At St Georges Road Primary School, we are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Classroom Teacher to join our dynamic teaching team.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with experienced educators who are passionate about delivering high-quality education to students. The classroom teacher will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons to students, assessing student progress, and developing and implementing individualized learning plans. The successful candidate will also be expected to participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the school community through committee membership and other volunteer activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons to students

Selection Criteria:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum, including literacy and numeracy skills
  • Demonstrated experience in responding to student learning needs
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated behaviours and attitudes consistent with Department values
