About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer - Electrical to join our growing Rouse Hill project team within our Fulton Hogan Utilities business. The project is for our client Sydney Water and involves a major upgrade to the existing treatment plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our Design Team, Site Engineering and Supervisory Team to deliver complex Electrical works safely, on time, and on budget.
  • Assist with the development of contracts for sub-contractors, managing and approvals of variations, initiating and executing work to minimize cost ensuring they are in line with the forecasted revenue.
  • Design review, issue tender documents, procurement, expediting, site installation and commissioning assistance of electrical packages.
  • Attend and participate in HAZOPs, SiD reviews, CHAIR's and other workshops as required.
  • Oversee practical completion documentation.
  • Manage Design & Construct LV & HV electrical subcontractors.
Requirements
  • Relevant Tertiary Electrical Engineering Qualifications.
  • 5-10 years' experience in Electrical Engineering role.
  • Experience on construction projects in water infrastructure, Water or Wastewater Treatment Plants (preferred).
  • Knowledge of project financial management, forecasting, procurement, design and contracts management functions.
  • An affinity for continuous improvement and innovation, applying learnings to 'real world' project delivery environments.
