About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join our growing Rouse Hill project team within our Fulton Hogan Utilities business. The project is for our client Sydney Water and includes a major upgrade to the existing treatment plant. The scope is multi-disciplinary with civil/ structures/ pipework/ mechanical and electrical.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand all commercial aspects of the construction and utilities contracts and identify key areas of contract and financial risk.
- Project forecasting, financial modelling, cost control management and performance reporting.
- Procurement of subcontractors and negotiation of commercial terms, and formation of Subcontract Agreements in accordance with Company subcontracting protocols.
- Management of subcontractor claims (including payment, variations and EOT).
- Preparation of monthly Head Contract progress claims.
- Liaising closely with the Project Manager, Commercial Manager and the wider project team to ensure commercial and financial risks are mitigated.
Requirements
- Formal Qualifications in Contract Management is desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in end to end procurement and contract formation in the construction and/or utilities sectors.
- Sound commercial and financial acumen related to the construction/utilities sectors.
- Experience in contractual notifications, claim preparation and negotiation.
- Have excellent IT skills and advanced skills in Excel and Word.
- Experience with JDE will be an advantage, but is not essential.
