Sourcing Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a strategic sourcing professional to join our dynamic Sourcing & Procurement team, supporting critical sourcing functions across a diverse portfolio of categories.

","

This role offers the opportunity to develop and implement effective sourcing strategies that deliver best value outcomes for our clients and stakeholders.

","

As a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, you will work closely with internal teams and clients, playing a key role in sourcing activities while supporting bid and sales initiatives.

","

This is a hybrid role with the successful candidate based in either Melbourne or Sydney CBD at least 3 days a week.

","

Key Responsibilities:

","

• Establish and execute category plans, strategies and frameworks to meet client needs and expectations

","

• Present sourcing project outcomes and key recommendations to stakeholders and decision-makers

","

• Develop optimal sourcing strategies achieving consistent, quality outcomes across our diverse client base

","

• Conduct negotiations on critical, complex supply arrangements and manage contract negotiations

","

• Manage key contracts and their administration while ensuring optimal vendor delivery

","

• Identify and evaluate new market trends and opportunities to deliver strategic procurement decisions

","

• Provide advice to key stakeholders and clients on all aspects of procurement category strategy

","

• Report on procurement activity in terms of progress, results, client satisfaction, value and cost

","

Requirements:

","

• Tertiary education in Business, Commerce, Economics, or related fields

","

• 3 to 5 years' experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing and negotiation

","

• Work experience with exposure to IFM (integrated facilities management) principles and/or experience will be an added advantage

","

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities with high attention to detail

","

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all organisational levels

","

• Experience in financial modelling, feasibility studies and total cost of ownership analysis

","

• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment

","

• Sound proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

","
