Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as an Sourcing Strategist and Procurement Expert. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling them to effectively navigate complex procurement scenarios.

The Sourcing Strategist and Procurement Expert will be responsible for assisting in sourcing and evaluating suppliers, collaborating with stakeholders to identify procurement opportunities, developing and maintaining relationships with key suppliers, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and regulations, and managing contracts and negotiations with suppliers.

About the Role

  • Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers to ensure the best possible outcomes for the organization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify procurement opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on these opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure a high level of service and satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations to minimize risk and ensure ethical practices.
  • Manage contracts and negotiations with suppliers to ensure fair and equitable terms.

Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Proficient knowledge of the Procure to Pay (P2P) process.
  • Experience in sourcing activities, including RFQ documentation and contract agreements.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP/Ariba is advantageous.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Proven experience in procurement/purchasing environments.
  • Knowledge of State Government procurement policies/schemes/contracts/panels is highly desirable.
  • Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
