Job Title: Senior Environmental Consultant

About the Role
  • We are seeking an experienced environmental consultant with a strong track record of managing environmental approvals and impact assessments.
  • As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with colleagues to provide expert advice on project development and delivery.
  • Your technical expertise will be essential in ensuring that all projects meet the required environmental standards.

In addition to your technical skills, we are looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will need to be able to build relationships with stakeholders and communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage environmental approvals and impact assessment processes on major projects.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide project development and delivery advice.
  • Provide technical support for projects related to environmental compliance and management.
  • Mentor junior team members and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Experience in managing environmental impact assessment processes and tasks on complex projects in NSW.
  • Familiarity with NSW State and Commonwealth planning and environment legislation.
  • Delivering projects in the energy, transport, water, and/or defence sectors in NSW.
  • Strong project and commercial management skills.
  • Clear negotiation and communication skills.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in environmental science or a related discipline.
