Environmental Engineering Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Engineering Leader to drive the execution of complex environmental engineering projects. This leadership role requires strategic thinking, technical expertise, and a genuine passion for environmental stewardship.

The successful candidate will manage a diverse portfolio of projects, lead a team of environmental scientists and engineers, and work closely with clients to ensure compliance, innovation, and excellence in environmental management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Leadership: Lead the planning, execution, and completion of environmental assessment and remediation projects, ensuring regulatory compliance and sustainable outcomes.
  • Client Engagement: Serve as the principal liaison for clients, managing relationships, project scopes, and deliverables, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Technical Oversight: Provide expert guidance in contaminated land assessment, environmental site assessments (ESAs), waste classification, groundwater monitoring, and remediation strategies, leveraging technical knowledge and industry best practices.
  • Team Development: Mentor junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a high-performance, learning-oriented culture that encourages collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Navigate local/state environmental regulations and develop risk mitigation strategies to ensure project success and minimize potential risks and liabilities.
  • Reporting: Prepare and review high-quality technical reports, environmental management plans (EMPs), and compliance documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
