About You The Senior Finance and Compliance Manager plays a critical role in advancing our financial and governance maturity. Working closely with the CFOO, this position supports enterprise-wide financial oversight, regulatory compliance, and risk management. It requires a proactive and solutions-focused approach to improving systems, embedding best practices, and enabling informed decision-making across the organisation. With a strong emphasis on collaboration, strategic insight, and operational excellence, the role contributes to our long-term sustainability and culture of accountability.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and reporting with strategic insights.
  • Drive digital transformation and ensure compliance with key regulatory standards.
  • Manage audits, risk assessments, and internal controls.
  • Supervise finance and compliance staff, supporting performance and development.
  • Contribute to organisational strategy and cross-functional projects.
  • Develop financial models, business tools, and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Drive digital transformation and automation in financial and compliance systems.
  • Manage audits, risk assessments, and internal controls across finance and compliance functions.
  • Maintain the enterprise risk management and organisational compliance frameworks.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and ensure compliance with ACNC, ACFID, DFAT, and other standards.
  • Lead contract negotiations and supplier relationship management for value and risk mitigation.
  • Build organisational capability through training, mentoring, and policy development.
  • Supervise finance and compliance staff, supporting performance, development, and induction.
  • Support executive and board reporting processes, including governance and accreditation needs.
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects and organisational strategy through financial and compliance expertise.

Requirements:
• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• CPA or CA qualification required.
• 7+ years in finance, with 3+ years in a senior/management role.
• Strong financial management, reporting, and compliance experience.
• Experience leading change and supporting organisational culture.
• Advanced knowledge of financial principles and regulatory compliance.
