Procurement Contract Manager
We are seeking a skilled Procurement Contract Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing major subcontracts and associated repairable items.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage subcontract compliance, delivery performance, risks, and lead the resolution of contractual issues and disputes across the supply chain
- Lead the procurement contracts team to deliver and sustain required performance levels to support projects
- Escalate expediting vulnerable and critical subcontractor and RI requirements via order book performance
- Negotiate subcontract amendments and change proposals associated with award term reviews and survey & quote activities
- Develop new subcontract business agreements and statements of work when required and collaborate with project teams to achieve successful outcomes
- Ensure adherence to contractual obligations through effective contract management, including payments, claims, warranties, cash flow and flow down of contract amendments
- Identify and monitor emerging risks appropriately, including those of the supplier's supply chain
- Perform cost account management for all Lead In Fighter (LIF) subcontracts and serve as the point of contact for the LIF supply chain team
- Establish licences/agreement in accordance with import/export requirements and administer LIF obsolescence register and coordinate responses to ensure availability of obsolescence affected items
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in procurement, project management, engineering, or commercial roles within complex environments with a track record of successful delivery of major subcontracts obligations
- Strong leadership and management skills with substantial familiarity in development and negotiation of complex contracts
- A proven background in supervising and mentoring will be highly regarded for this role
- Ability to form strong working relationships in project environments and with major suppliers, along with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- An ability to balance conflicting priorities to deliver against customer and business requirements
