Senior Claims Professional Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Claims Professional to join our National team at Allianz Australia Services Pty Ltd. As a Senior Claims Consultant, you will be responsible for managing and processing complex insurance claims in accordance with legislative requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the point of escalation for complex claims queries and assist with ad-hoc projects and duties utilizing leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Manage a portfolio of incoming complex insurance claims, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.
- Act as the point of escalation for internal and external contacts.
- Provide a positive customer experience through timely and effective communication across all customer touchpoints.
- Ensure all contact and individual actions comply with legislative codes and Club Marine's Claims and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain knowledge of current legislation and its impact on claims management, applying sound decision-making to all claims and making liability decisions of increasing complexity.
About You:
- Experience in insurance or customer-facing roles with exposure to complaints or disputes.
- Previous experience in insurance or financial services with exposure to complaints and disputes or negotiation.
- Ability to identify issues and opportunities, determine causes, and propose solutions to drive excellent customer experience.
- Knowledge of software and processes that align with providing excellent customer experience.
- Ability to understand, interpret, communicate, and take action on market and industry issues and trends.
