Job Opportunity:

We seek an accomplished Engineering Manager to lead our Utilities business nationally, supporting teams in multiple regions.

This role involves overseeing the engineering aspects of key water and wastewater infrastructure projects, from design through construction.

  1. Lead and manage engineering management for water and wastewater projects.
  2. Develop high-quality systems, processes, and governance frameworks for project delivery.
  3. Coordinate with design teams, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure feasible designs aligned with project objectives.
  4. Provide technical leadership and guidance across design and construction phases, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
  5. Collaborate with project managers, site managers, construction teams, and other stakeholders to coordinate activities.
  6. Lead and mentor engineering teams, providing necessary resources, skills, and training for project success.
  7. Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in engineering management within the water and wastewater sector.
  • Strong expertise in design and construct projects, with contractor-side delivery experience highly desirable.
  • Background in mechanical engineering highly desirable, with strong experience in design management.
  • A passion for building and improving systems, processes, and governance frameworks.
  • Natural problem-solving skills, with ability to partner with clients and project teams to provide innovative solutions.
