Job Title: Project Manager - Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of water and wastewater treatment plant projects. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of construction and upgrade projects, ensuring timely, on-budget delivery to the highest quality and environmental standards.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets, schedules, and resources, and ensure compliance with water industry regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, water treatment processes, and Australian water regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and schedules for water treatment plant projects.
  • Lead project teams, including designers, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, to achieve project goals.
  • Oversee construction and commissioning of treatment systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, water authorities, and regulatory bodies.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, financial performance, and regulatory compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of project management experience in water treatment plant construction or upgrades.
  • Strong knowledge of water treatment processes (e.g., filtration, disinfection, SCADA systems) and Australian water regulations.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Proficiency in project management software and engineering tools.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
