Regulatory Change Specialist

We are seeking a diligent and energetic Compliance Analyst to support our regulatory change process. The right candidate will thrive in ambiguity, working collaboratively with stakeholders to assess regulatory change and maintain up-to-date obligations registries.
- Receive and assess regulatory change notifications for incorporation into our governance, risk and compliance system.
- Maintain compliance registers, including obligations, risks and controls, and ensure appropriate linkage.
- Support the assessment, reporting and escalation of compliance breaches and incidents.
- Provide advice and guidance on the implementation of regulatory change by business stakeholders.
- Undertake monitoring and provide reporting on compliance activity.
This role provides comprehensive compliance support across various businesses, offering exposure to a diverse and interesting industry, opportunities to master new technology platforms, and involvement in exciting cross-functional projects.
To succeed in this job, you'll need:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in business, law, compliance or risk management, or a related field.
- Between 1-5 years of professional experience, ideally working in a highly regulated environment.
- Experience working in financial services or healthcare will be advantageous.
- A good understanding of compliance, obligations, regulatory change and incident management.
- Experience in operating GRC systems.
- Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
- A curious mind with the ability to ask 'why?'
