Regulatory Change Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Change Management Specialist to join our Operations team at Mercer Super. This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of superannuation business activities, products, and associated regulations, including APRA guidance.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and analyze regulatory changes impacting the superannuation industry, conducting impact assessments to evaluate implications for operations, products, and compliance obligations.
- Collaborate with Line 1 teams and facilitate communication among stakeholders to ensure alignment on regulatory requirements and expectations.
- Maintain regulatory change registers and prepare reports for senior management and governance committees.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements related to regulatory change management, ensuring ongoing compliance and efficiency.
- 3-5 years of experience in regulatory change management, compliance, or risk management within the superannuation or financial services industries.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex regulatory concepts clearly.
- Tertiary qualifications in law, finance, or a business-related discipline (desirable).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project management and data analysis tools.
