About the Role:

As a Holistic Rehabilitation Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting ADF personnel who have sustained physical and/or psychological injuries. Your clinical expertise and holistic approach will enable individuals to recover and function optimally, leading to successful rehabilitation outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To apply your clinical reasoning skills to support ADF personnel in their rehabilitation journey
  • Perform a variety of assessments, including functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic or activities of daily living assessments
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including employees, medical specialists, other treatment providers and allied health professionals
  • Develop, implement and monitor rehabilitation plans based on service delivery outcomes

Requirements:

  • Current unrestricted registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC or AASW)
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Osteopathy or Social Work
  • Australian Citizenship
