Sustainability Leadership Role

The key objective of this role is to drive sustainability across the business. This involves developing and implementing a comprehensive sustainability strategy that aligns with global goals.

This position requires close collaboration with various stakeholders, including senior executives, teams, and external organizations. The Sustainability Manager will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining sustainability frameworks, roadmaps, and programs.
  • Improving performance on key sustainability metrics and supporting commercial outcomes.
  • Leading the development, tracking, and communication of key sustainability metrics.
  • Maintaining stakeholder relationships and influencing policy at government, regulatory, industry, and other levels.

This is an opportunity for an experienced professional to make a significant impact in shaping the company's sustainability direction.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A degree qualification in a relevant technical or commercial discipline.
  • Management experience in construction materials/minerals/quarrying, preferably in a sustainability role.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, including proficiency in data visualization tools.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration capabilities.
  • Influencing and negotiating skills, with exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to build and implement a strategic plan.
