Job Title: Horticulture Apprentice

This is a wonderful opportunity for individuals to acquire hands-on skills in park and reserve maintenance. As a Horticulture Apprentice, you will collaborate with the Open Spaces team to maintain our open spaces.

About the Role:
  • Support the Open Spaces team and participate in rotations across various areas of open spaces, parks and gardens, turf/sportsfield maintenance, greenkeeping, nursery, tree maintenance and bush regeneration.
Key Responsibilities:
  • To develop practical knowledge and skills related to the presentation of our city, complete a Certificate III in Horticulture course at Yallah TAFE.
  • This opportunity is available to school leavers, mature age applicants, second year apprentices and/or those who have already commenced their Certificate III in Horticulture.
