Job Description

The Tooling and Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the effective management and compliance of tooling and GSE within our organisation.

This position requires strong organisational and problem-solving skills, as well as effective communication and computer literacy. The ideal candidate will have sound knowledge of aviation tooling standards and requirements, along with an in-depth understanding of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations.

  • Responsibilities include managing alternate tooling and equipment approvals, supervising Level 1 store persons, and liaising with customers for Certificate of Performance (COP) and tool loans.
  • Maintenance and calibration of tooling are also key aspects of this role, as is the segregation of serviceable and unserviceable tooling and equipment.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in aviation stores, ideally in a supervisory role.
  • Sound knowledge of aviation tooling standards and requirements.
  • In-depth understanding of OHS regulations as applied to safety in the workplace.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organisational and problem-solving ability.
  • Computer literacy and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of financial control and budget management.
