Tooling / GSE Compliance Coordinator

**About AViat Global**
AViat Global, an Australian owned company, is a CASR Part 145 approved maintenance organisation (MRO) with its main operations based at Melbourne Airport. We provide maintenance services, resource and logistics support to various operators on numerous aircraft types.

**The role**
We are currently seeking a Tooling and GSE Compliance Coordinator who will be responsible for effective management and compliance of tooling and Ground Support Equipment.

**Current offering**:

- Full time, Permanent role
- Based at Melbourne Airport
- Day shift, Monday to Friday

**Responsibilities include**:

- Management of Alternate tooling and equipment approvals
- Management of tooling and equipment suppliers and requests for approvals
- Development of tooling KITS
- Upkeep of Aerotrack
- Monitoring of stores environmental compliance and condition for the purpose of tooling and equipment
- Responsible for segregation of serviceable and unserviceable tooling and equipment
- Management of muti-use and personal toolboxes
- Training for special tooling and equipment
- Purchase of Tooling/GSE and disposal
- Maintenance and calibration of tooling
- Tool control
- Supervision of level 1 store persons
- Liaising with Customers for COP and tool loans
- Management of off-site warehouse and storage containers
- 2+ years aviation stores experience, ideally in a supervisory role
- A sound knowledge of aviation tooling standards and requirements.
- An in depth understanding of OHS requirements as applied to safety in the workplace.
- Effective communication skills
- Organisational and problem-solving ability
- Computer literacy and attention to detail
- Knowledge of financial control
- Able to work within a Aviation Safety Management System
