Orthopaedic Registrar Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Orthopaedic Registrar to join our team at Joondalup Health Campus. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive team, providing high-quality care to patients with a range of orthopaedic conditions.

Job Description:

As an Orthopaedic Registrar, you will be responsible for working as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide patient care, participate in clinical decision-making, and develop your skills and knowledge in orthopaedic surgery.

  • Work collaboratively with consultants, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Participate in daily ward rounds, operating sessions, and department meetings to stay informed about patient progress and receive feedback on your performance.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and carers to ensure their needs are met and they receive optimal care.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A current registration with the Australian Medical Council (AMC) and/or the Medical Board of Australia (MBA).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of common orthopaedic emergencies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
