Stryker, a leading global medical technology company, is seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Orthopaedic Surgery Specialist.

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled individual with expertise in orthopaedic surgery and robotic-assisted procedures. As an Orthopaedic Surgery Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting surgeons and theatre staff in the planning and execution of joint replacement surgeries using Stryker's Mako system.

  • Serve as the primary clinical expert for the Mako system, providing technical and clinical guidance to surgeons and theatre staff during procedures.

  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal use of the Mako robotic platform during joint replacement surgeries.

  • Conduct pre-operative CT-based planning and segmentation to assist in surgical case preparation.

  • Maintain a high level of knowledge in orthopaedic surgical techniques, anatomy, and robotic technology.

  • Provide ongoing training and clinical support to hospital staff and surgical teams.

  • Travel across Sydney and surrounding areas to support multiple hospital sites.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong clinical background and experience in orthopaedic surgery or related fields.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with surgeons and hospital teams.

  • Technical savvy with software and medical technology, including proficiency in the Mako system.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and perform under pressure.

  • Adaptability and flexibility to meet changing needs and priorities.
