Placement Services Team Leader Opportunity in North Sydney

About the RoleThe Placement Services Team Leader will be responsible for providing leadership and coordination of administrative operations and day-to-day business of faculty clinical/professional placements at our North Sydney campus. This role requires supervising clinical administrative staff, coordinating activities undertaken by clinical administrative staff, and providing hands-on support where necessary.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of clinical administrators to ensure seamless placement administration and student placement experiences.
- Coordinate activities undertaken by clinical administrative staff, including scheduling, communication, and data management.
- Provide hands-on support to clinical administrative staff, ensuring high-quality service delivery and effective problem-solving.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth placement processes and ensure alignment with university policies and procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Proven leadership and management experience in a similar environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Experience working with student placement software, such as InPlace.
- A degree in a relevant field, such as education, health sciences, or a related discipline.
We offer a competitive salary package, including:
- A total remuneration package valued up to $117,590 - $127,214 per annum, including a base salary component of $99,365 - $107,498 per annum.
- 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
- Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary payable, dependent on your commencement date.
